Professional work placement, University of Newcastle. Assisting students directly within the department with their equipment bookings using the online equipment booking system, responding to technical enquiries relating to the media production equipment and facilities, room bookings and studio requirements, as well as equipment and resources relating to classes and seminars.

2015

Media Assistant Asian Cup Australia

Assisting media in the press tribunes, including answering general questions, fixing technology in conjunction with IT support. Responsible for the distribution of event information, start lists and score sheets. Assisting with mixed zone operations in conjunction with the manager and Rights/Non Rights Broadcast.

About Me

I am a creative problem solver with an analytical and reflective approach to tasks. I am a fast learner with the ability to assimilate complex information, both practical and technical. An excellent group contributor and communicator with a high attention to detail. I have practical knowledge and an understanding of a variety of media technologies including digital cameras, digital video, sound recording equipment, and editing software. I am self-motivated, and able to multitask and negotiate.
